Presented is a 1926 Commemorative half dollar coin that celebrates the 150

anniversary (sesquicentennial) of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

For the first time, a portrait of a president
[Calvin
Coolidge]
appeared on a coin struck during his own lifetime”
(Official Red Book).
The surfaces are a little dark but a uniform luster is present.
The reverse Liberty bell lines are complete and PASS & STOW (bell manufacturer) is discernible.
