DESCRIPTION:
This is an antique solid silver rosary.  It measures approx 15-¾ inches long from end to end when laid out flat.  The necklace portion measures a bit over 22 inches in circumference and the drop hangs down approx 4-⅝ inches.  It fits over my head (22 inches or smaller) - there is no clasp.  It is made of solid silver - probably either 800 or 925 fine.  There are hallmarks on the ring at the top of the crucifix and heart centerpiece - I think they are Dutch - see photos.  The crucifix measures approx 1-¾ inch long and 15/16 inch wide.  The heart measures approx 11/16 inch tall and 11/16 across.  The ribbed beads measure approx 10mm wide and the smaller beads measure approx 5mm wide.  The links and beads are sturdy and well made.  It weighs 33.4 grams.
