    Aluminum Star 2.75" - Machined Aluminum Star, with threaded mounting Hole
    This star came in with a group of other Naval items, such as shoulder boards and Naval Academy insignia, which is why I believe it was machined on a tender or Naval Shipyard for use by a 1 Star Admiral.  No paperwork was with it to confirm that.
    - Machine shop made star, made to designate a 1 Star Admiral.
    - Has a single mounting bolt on the reverse.
