Single Decade Rosary
This single decade rosary celebrates the famous Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano.  The 1" gold-toned medal was handmade in France and has a color image of the elaborate reliquary monstrance that contains the miracle and a textured back. The 1-1/2" silver-toned crucifix was made in Italy; the rosary itself was handmade by me in our home in the USA.
The 11 beads which are all 8 mm, genuine Czech glass, faceted and fire-polished. The ten Hail Mary beads are a ruby/crystal bicolor which beautifully symbolizes
the Divine Mercy and Holy Eucharist.
The Our Father bead is a gold/crystal bi-color.

In the city of Lanciano, Italy in the eighth century, a monk who doubted the Real Presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist was performing Mass at the monastery of St Longinus.  St Longinus was the Roman soldier who pierced the Side of Christ at the Crucifixion and later became a Christian.  At the words of consecration, the bread and wine turned into human flesh and blood.  The miracle was confirmed by the Church and the relics have remained perfectly preserved today and can be seen in Lanciano.  Scientific studies on the relics have identified them as human heart tissue and human blood.
The prayer cards which come with our rosaries, medals and pictures are home-made, created using a "greeting card" program on a computer and printed in full color on nice quality paper. Although they are not like the usual smaller professionally printed prayer cards, most of our customers prefer them since they are like a pamphlet with 4 "pages" and several images, prayers, patronages and often other information about the saint or Catholic devotion.
