ITALY, MICRO MOSAIC GLASS RECTANGLE TILE PIN, VINTAGE ‘50’S

Description

These wonderful pieces are from talented Artisans using a labor intensive process where each segment is inserted by hand in a mosaic motif.
This is a lovely Vintage Italian Micro Mosaic Glass Tile Brooch Pin.  Maybe from the 50's.
It is a rectangle with black background and pictures 3 flowers.  It's size is about 1  1/4 inches wide.
A gold tone metal  pattern surrounds the upper edging of the Pin which is secured with an older "safety pin" style clasp.
It is marked Italy and is authentic.
There are no missing or broken tiles
and is in  good pre-owned condition with a couple of small tarnish marks on the back of the pin.
