    Description

A tiny, delicate, hand painted teacup and saucer from the Kangxi era.
The saucer has designs of fishermen with baskets. The little teacup has designs of dancers,  landscape scenes, bamboo, insects on the outside and a temple, willow and pine in the well. Both pieces are thinly molded porcelain and painted with under glaze cobalt.  The rims on both pieces are barbed and they both have shallow unglazed foot rims and glazed bases. The glaze feels very thick and very smooth. The cobalt used is that nice dark Kangxi blue.
