Handmade flip rosary made in a Ukrainian prison from USSR ebonite.
A quality model, along the lines of "
наркоманоки
" ( that's the name of the rosary beads in russian.). The rosary contains a super strong thread called «cordovoy» (
кордовая
нить
- in Russian) , it was made in the USSR, it was used in the manufacture of conveyor belts to lift ore from mines or used in tire factories.
It's hard to find that thread , as there was almost nowhere like it preserved. Now it is sold new, but it is much worse in quality than it was in the USSR. That is why rosary beads with corded thread are much more valuable.
All the exit holes are ground, for more durable use, so that the thread will not tear for longer.

Very pleasant to the touch. Comfortable to hold in your hand and go through. The tips are rounded at the edges. The material is black with a greenish tint - ebonite USSR.
There may be scuffs or dots on the rosary, this is normal. Since ibonite has pores, this is its structure.
