Description

This is an Original WW1 United States M1917 Brodie Steel Helmet With Shell and Liner.  This m1917 helmet shell is in very good condition, the grainy texture isn't rubbed off and all the paint is completely original. The cloth on the top of the inside of the shell is in very good condition, where it's usually in tatters. You can see the original manufacturer stamping on the shell and it's clearly visible. The leather strap that holds the liner onto the shell has been broken off, which makes us of the liner falls out easily. The liner itself is in very good condition, it even has that long string hanging off it which would usually cut off because it got in the way. The chin strap has broken on one side so it hangs, althoung the leather itself is in good condition.
