    Description

    One (1) vintage Spanish brass insignia.  Crowned gold eagle of St. John the Evangelist with the red cross of St. James in the center. About 53mm height and 45mm width at maximum. Back has three pointed spikes for fitting onto a hat. Can also be modified to fit onto a helmet. This insignia dates to about the 1940's- 1950's.
    Good solid condition, not missing any parts. Red enamel has chipping (red finger nail polish would upgrade this insignia).
    Getting very scarce.
