This medal is an heirloom first Communion medal gift that belonged to my mother, who was born in 1913, and had her first Communion in 1930 during the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Catholic Devotional Miraculous Medal of 1830. It is 1.5 hanging length and made of sterling silver. It weighs 6 grams and is in superb condition.
