    Description

    Vintage Pair of Size 3 Spats, Gaiters, or Puttees - 9 buttons
    A stamped "3" inside (indicating the size, apparently).  It looks to be 5.5" across the top, 9" at the shortest length, and 10.5" from heel to toe approx.
    There is the leather under boot strap attached nicely.
    The Spats, or Gaiters, or Puttees is made of a cotton / canvas material and the outside has a coating of either white paint, or white shoe polish.
    There are 9 buttons.
    Condition is well used and worn, showing scuffing, dirt and marks all over. v
    I don't know if a regiment used these, or the military from ? country?
