    Description

    WWI U. S. M1917 MARINE & ARMY "DISHPAN" HELMET W/LINER.  As shown by the photos, this is an original U. S. M1917 "dishpan" helmet worn by both U. S. Marines and soldiers during WWI.  It has a complete liner and chin strap and is in surprisingly very good to excellent condition for its age.  At the top of the liner is a white tag which reads, "TIGHTEN CORD/FIT THE HEAD".   On the bottom of the front lip of the helmet is stamped, "X H F".  If you have any questions, please ask before buying or making an offer.  Thanks.
