WWII Katharine Cornell + Brian Aherne Autographed Program AMERICAN THEATER WING

GREETINGS!  I am pleased to offer an authentic 1945 autographed play program of a special performance in Paris, France on January 14, 1945.  The performance was hosted by U.S. Army Special Service in cooperation with USO-Camp Shows and The American Theater Wing.  The play was The Barretts of Wimpole Street by Rudolf Besier starring Katherine Cornell and Brian Aherne.  Their actual signatures in ink appear above their names on the program.  At the bottom of the front page, in the previous owner's handwriting is "Their signature (5 10"?) of conversation backstage 14 Jan 45.  The authentic 4 sided folded program is expected age tanned with fold creases; there are no rips, tears or stains.  Excellent aged condition.
